The embroidered picture you see is called "Lake George Autumn, 1927." Gobelin wool in vibrant colors perfectly captures the extraordinary landscape of a golden autumn on the lake's shore. The picture was embroidered in half-cross stitch by a 77-year-old woman. She said the process and the result brought her great joy. The embroidery took approximately 90 hours to complete.
