Lake Geneva with Mont Blanc at dawn, 1918 after Ferdinand Hodler

The morning of a new day: the sun at dawn, the mountains and Lake Geneva; and now we can see this view of Mont Blanc from the Swiss shore. The image is embroidered after the same painting by Ferdinand Hodler: "Lake Geneva with Mont Blanc at Dawn, 1918." Ferdinand Hodler (1853–1918) was a Swiss painter of Symbolism and Art Nouveau. He is today the most famous Swiss painter of the 19th century.
