Johannes (Jan) Sluijters (1881–1957) was a Dutch painter. Sluijters (often spelled "Sluyters" in English) was a leading pioneer of various post-Impressionist movements in the Netherlands. He experimented with different styles, including Fauvism and Cubism, and ultimately settled on a colorful Expressionism. His paintings include nude studies, portraits, landscapes, and still lifes.
