Embroidery pattern based on your own photo. A project from start to finish.
In this post we'll show you how to create an embroidery pattern from a photo.
The original photo:

We cut out the photo and create a few embroidery prototypes. An embroidery prototype is a photo of a sample showing what your embroidered picture will look like. We make several versions and compare them.

We can already show you how much the material is likely to cost.
- Depending on the fabric option, the material price and image size will vary.
- We create the variant comparison with different fabric variants and material estimates.

The customer suggests removing the background and selects option 1 for material and image size.
We work in our own program and can make changes directly to the embroidery design. In this final version, the teeth, eyes, and fur are adjusted to the edge of the background.

2) 18 sheets of the enlarged embroidery pattern, printed in color. Below you see embroidery pattern sheet number 1.

3) Legend. The legend shows which color corresponds to which symbol on the embroidery pattern.

This project is now complete, and our client has kindly granted us permission to publish the result. Unfortunately, there are glass reflections visible in the photo. In reality, the portrait is indistinguishable from the original photograph.

It turned out really great.
We invite you to implement your project with us!
How much does it cost? Our work costs 25 Swiss francs (approx. 27 euros).
